Japan’s Yamaha Motor reported a dip in 2019 sales, offset by 2% growth in the company’s Marine business which accounts for 21% of annual revenues
Despite a softening in other business segments, Yamaha Motor posted 2% growth in fiscal 2019 revenues for the company’s Marine business which includes sport boats, personal watercraft and outboard engines.
According to full-year results presented today by Yoshihiro Hidaka, President, CEO and Representative Director of Yamaha Motor, net sales in the Marine division were ¥345.1 billion, representing a 2% increase compared to 2018 and accounting for 21% of annual revenues for the company which were down 1% to ¥1,673 billion….
