The Italian distributor of marine equipment generated €66m in 20017/18
Osculati has reported strong sales for the year ended August 2018, with positive performance across all markets and product categories.
Osculati has reported turnover of €66m for the year ended August 31, 2018, a 7% increase over the previous 12-month period. Sales were up by 6% in Italy, 9% in Europe and by 1% outside of Europe.
“We are proud to say that this is an organic growth, done without any external acquisition,” says executive director Alberto Osculati. “I thank our customers for their support and, above all, their feedback, which is the basis of our work.”
Over the last three years, Osculati’s group turnover has grown by 29% and by 51% over the last five years.
The company has also significantly grown its direct workforce by 32% over the last five years to 130 people. In addition to the direct workforce, 25 agents and 30 people working in logistics collaborate full-time with the Osculati Group.
“We are happy to say that the results of these years have not changed the family attitude of our company: on the contrary, I would say that we have grown because we remain a family business,” Osculati adds.
Osculati is one of Europe’s leading nautical accessories firms with more than 20,000 items in its catalogue. It is a key partner for shipyards and retailers, with a stock availability of 98%.
