The giant sea lock took a decade to build
King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands has opened the world’s largest sea lock on a deep inland seaway that connects Amsterdam to the North Sea. It improves access to the Dutch capital for cargo vessels, cruise ships and large yachts.
