In a weekend interview, French official flatly denies he ordered the show’s cancellation and lays responsibility on the organisers; compensation costs at issue.

Reed Expo, organisers of Cannes Yachting Festival, began telling exhibitors on Friday morning that this year’s show had been cancelled, but it was only today that an official press release appeared on the website explaining the circumstances.  In the meantime, the Alpes-Maritimes Préfet Bernard Gonzales, has flatly denied responsibility for cancellation of the show…
