It will be three to six months before we know if the current global supply chain crisis is merely the result of a Covid pandemic surge in demand for goods and shipping or if it foretells a longer crisis, and it will likely be a year before any normalcy returns to the supply chain, a leading supply chain expert told the US marine industry on Wednesday.
