More than 18,000 people visited this year’s event in southern Croatia
Perfect weather helped boost attendance at this year’s Biograd Boat Show, which ran from October 17-20 at in Marina Kornati in southern Croatia. Some 18,326 people visited the four-day event, a 15% increase over last year’s edition.
According to the organisers, it was a record show for the 21st year in a row, with approximately 400 registered exhibitors and 350 boats on display. The opening day also saw record attendance, up more than 20% from the previous year’s record attendance.
New for this year was the Croatia Charter Expo in Hall D. More than 120 companies participated in this closed two-day B2B event, leaving the weekend to network with over 280 exhibitors at the boat show through the Biograd B2B networking software.
The Croatian Chamber of Economy also held its 3rd annual Croatian Nautical Days, with a rich Congress Program to serve the nautical industry. Highlights of the program included meetings and presentations from tour boat operators, marina operators, boatbuilders, nautical harbours, yacht charter operators and adventure tourism agencies.
