Cheryll Gill has joined the board of directors at UK-based marine equipment distributor A.S.A.P. Supplies as business development director.
Gill first joined A.S.A.P. in 2007 as an NVQ assessor, where she developed a training schedule and development programme to run alongside A.S.A.P.’s business goals. Over time, she began to work for A.S.A.P. as a consultant, advising on training, identifying staff needs and skills and as a support to the sales team.
“My aspirations are to enhance the current board structure by bringing in fresh ideas from my previous experiences that will support A.S.A.P.’s future plans,” says Gill. “I have been lucky enough to have worked with some very large and well known organisations and I hope that my previous roles can contribute to my role at A.S.A.P."
A.S.A.P. Supplies is a mail order distribution company, founded in 1989 by Mark Reynolds and Peter Edwards. The company delivers marine equipment and spares worldwide for the leisure and commercial marine markets, with over 12,500 stock lines.
