Carver Yachts has launched a new website ( that is designed to be more interactive with boat owners. The Marquis-Larson company said the new site offers complete photo and video coverage of its seven models, with a video walk-through by the company’s national sales manager. The walk-through provides an experience similar to a personal tour at a boat show.

Matthew Vetzner, vice president of marketing for Larson-Marquis, said the website eliminates “slider” images found on most boating websites. It was modeled to be more like luxury auto brands like Mercedes and Lexus. It provides a comprehensive look at each model, showing standard features, options, power choice, and available hull colors.

The “Build My Boat” function allows potential buyers to choose all features and receive a quote from a nearby dealer.

The Carver Living area provides a lifestyle component. It has articles on cruising destinations, on-board entertaining tips, interviews with Carver Yacht owners, and profiles of Carver team members.

The new website was a collaboration of Avala Marketing, Freckmann Marketing Group, and Guild Creative.
