Turkey’s Mazu Yachts has announced that two new superyacht tenders will be making their debut at the 2017 Monaco Yacht Show in September – the Mazu 38 soft top and Mazu 42 walk-around.

The 11.9m Mazu 38 soft top was delivered to its new owner in Saint Tropez earlier this month. Designed by Halit Yukay, the yacht has a “military look” that combines the latest luxury superyacht tender amenities and trendy elegance.

The owner of the Mazu 38 soft top is a European “Armani style enthusiast”, so the yard decided to use as many different textures of leathers and fabrics as possible, along with a number of mirrors for a heightened perception of depth. Halit Yukay also designed the indoor lighting mood from Italian supplier Cantalupi to enhance Mazu 38 dramatic feeling.

Equipped with two Volvo Penta IPS 400 engines, the Mazu 38 soft top can reach speeds of up to 34kt.

The 11.9m Mazu 42 walk-around, the largest Mazu model to be shown at Monaco, will be delivered next month. With a maximum beam of 3.7m, the yacht’s center console is protected by a modern superstructure that leaves room for two ample lateral walk-arounds. The yacht has a freeboard that is high enough to allow safe movement on deck, even while at sea, with a sportive profile and military overtones.

Two 435hp Volvo Penta IPS 600s give the Mazu 42 walk-around a top speed of 47kt and a cruising speed of 32kt.
