Fire at Hong Kong marina sinks at least 16 boats, damages more

Two Sun Hing Shing 55ft motoryachts and a Princess 60ft motoryacht were among the casualties

A major fire broke out at Hong Kong’s Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter on Sunday, sinking at least 16 large powerboats and damaging many more, prompting renewed calls for authorities to fix long-standing structural problems at Hong Kong marinas.
