The Marina Yacht Park is located in Gdynia on the Baltic coast
Polish developer PHN S.A. has launched a new marina in Gdynia with a berthing capacity for 120 craft.
The Marina Yacht Park is already accepting its first seafarers, but construction work on the facility’s accompanying infrastructure continues, reports local daily Dziennik Bałtycki.
In addition to the marina, the investment includes the construction of residential buildings with a total surface area of around 12,000sq m. Of the facility’s 120 berths, 72 are for boats of less than 14m (46ft), 42 are for craft less than 12m (39ft), and six berths are for boats under 10m (33ft).
Located in the country’s Pomerania region, Gdynia has a population of around 245,000 inhabitants, according to the state-run Statistics Poland agency.
Based in Warsaw, PHN has a portfolio of more than 140 real estate properties with a value of approximately PLN 2.5bn (US$660m) across the country. The group is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE).
