Plans are afoot to expand Funchal Marina in Madeira

The government of Madeira, an autonomous region of Portugal, has unveiled plans to invest some €4.9m (US$5.8m) to overhaul Funchal Marina, on the Atlantic coast, as part of its strategy to attract more tourists.
