Taiwan is pushing hard to expand its recreational boating sector

The main obstacle to Taiwan’s “Blue Ocean Highway” plan that would increase nautical tourism in the country is requiring private marina operators to shoulder the cost of dredging facilities without government subsidies or loans, according to one marina executive.
