With the United Auto Workers (UAW) strike against carmakers General Motors (GM), Ford and Stellantis entering its second week amid widening walkouts at parts and distribution facilities, and layoffs at plants relying on those parts, marine engine manufacturers who use a base GM block could be getting nervous, though at least one US builder is prepared for an extended job action against the automakers.
