Volvo Penta to exit outboard segment

Seven Marine 4-engine installation

Swedish engine maker Volvo Penta announced today that it will phase out production of Seven Marine outboard engines, although it will continue to support the brand’s existing customer base

The shift in product strategy comes with targets set by the Volvo Group to transition to 100% fossil-free vehicles
