Cantiere Navale di Ostia (Canados) has announced that hull #1 of its Oceanic Yachts 90 STS series, will have its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

Christened MY Dolce Vita , the very first Oceanic 90′ in its straight shaft version (sold last January 2014) is due for delivery the first week of August 2014, before making its first official public appearance in Cote D’Azur.

The yacht’s upper deck owner’s suite features a private terrace, while a VIP plus two guest cabins are located on the lower deck.

The interior decoration is a result of a study undertaken by the Canados in-house design studio in conjunction with the Owner. The primary timbers used throughout will consist of limed Grey Oak, Macassar Ebony, Wengé, lacquered wood and wood floors.

The convertible aft deck, with modular bridge, will stow a 6.50m diesel powered SACS tender while two PWCs can be stored in the transom garage.

The engine room will be buffered from the lower deck guest cabins by the vast crew quarters and Boffi manufactured galley.

A Diesel-Electric propulsion (DiElec) version is available on the 90′ model, as well as for the 140-footer. In this version, the 90′ can run either on its two Caterpillar C32 Acert engines for speeds up to 28 knots or, alternately, on its two electric motors powered by Kohler generators.

The Cannes Yachting Festival 2014 will run from 9-14 September.
