2025 IBEX to debut expanded educational opportunities

Organisers of the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) have announced a broad range of new educational opportunities for 2025 including new presentations, panel discussions and technical seminars.

The IBEX Education Conference component to North America’s largest recreational boating trade event will feature a showcase of sessions on the IBEX main stage daily, with topics ranging from managing tariffs, trade and supply chain to workforce development and more. Confirmed speakers include Robyn Boerstling, SVP of government relations at the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA); former NMMA president Dr Thomas Dammrich; Freedom Boat Club president Cecil Cohn; and National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) president and executive director Mark Reedenauer.

The technical Seminar Series, produced in collaboration with education partners Professional BoatBuilder magazine, the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC), the NMEA and IBEX co-owner the NMMA, will present more than 50 individual seminars while free Tech Talk workshops return all three days of the show in the popular Tech Talk Theater, located on the third floor exhibit hall.

Attendees can also take advantage of getting an early jump on their IBEX educational experience with special pre-conference sessions hosted by show exhibitors.

IBEX is scheduled to return to the Tampa Convention Center from October 7-9, 2025.
