Multiflex Marine is looking for a new distributor in Poland

India-based accessory and component supplier Multiflex Marine is expanding its product portfolio and strengthening its presence in European markets, with plans to establish operations in Poland, according to a senior company representative.

Multiflex Marine specialises in manufacturing steering systems and control cables for boats and personal watercraft. Ramaswamy Jagannathan, the business head at Multiflex Marine, shared with IBI that the company is introducing new hydraulic products for yachts, including trim tabs and tie rods, as part of its growing portfolio.

“We are a brand that is owned by Greaves Cotton, benefiting from more than 20 years of continued activities in the field of manufacturing. We export our products to around 85 countries around the world,” Jagannathan says. “In Europe, we have distributors in a number of major markets, including Germany, Norway and others. At the same time, we continue to look for business in further European countries. With this in mind, we are currently looking for a distributor with whom we can work together to expand in the Polish market.”

Multiflex Marine’s products are already available in numerous markets, including the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and outside Europe in the US, Argentina, Brazil, China, Japan, the Philippines, South Africa, the UAE, and Australia, among others.

To establish a foothold in Poland, Multiflex Marine showcased its products at the 2025 Poland Boat Show, held in Warsaw from October 9-12. Jagannathan noted that Poland represents a promising market due to its robust boat building industry, and the company aims to collaborate with local builders.

“In addition to our exports to many countries across the world, we have an ongoing collaboration with more than 50 OEMs in India,” Jagannathan added. 

Based in Nagpur, a major industrial hub in central India, Multiflex Marine is investing in expanding its manufacturing capabilities. “Our investments in Nagpur include a new electronics assembly line,” the company representative said.

Multiflex Marine’s product range includes steering wheels, mechanical steering solutions, remote control levers, edge control cables, standard control cables, boat trailer rubber rollers, mooring compensators, and other motion control engineering products.

“With two decades of experience in manufacturing and distribution of motion control engineering products, the Multiflex range of products are manufactured at multi location plants of Excel Controlinkage Pvt Ltd,” the company said. “The core strength lies in our fully dedicated design division which … [is enabled to] develop and design the products and process control systems. This allows us to not only ensure reliable and quality products but also allows us to increase our product offerings to our customers including customisation of products and services.”
