The Boat Yard is one of Louisiana’s largest and most established boat dealerships

Twin Vee PowerCats, the US manufacturer and distributor of power sport boats, has announced the addition of The Boat Yard as its newest authorised dealer in Louisiana. This move marks an expansion into one of the United States’ key offshore boating and fishing regions.

“Louisiana represents a premier market for offshore catamaran boats, driven by world-class fishing in and around the Gulf of America’s extensive oil-rig network,” says Joseph Visconti, president and CEO of Twin Vee PowerCats Co. “Catamarans are particularly well-suited to these waters, offering superior stability, efficiency, and range-attributes that have made them one of the most popular hull forms in the region.”

The Boat Yard, based in Marrero, operates a 10-acre, full-service dealership and is recognised as one of Louisiana’s largest and most established boat dealerships. According to Twin Vee, the dealership’s infrastructure, reputation, and strong ties to the local offshore fishing community will enhance the company’s ability to serve Gulf Coast customers with increased inventory, local expertise, and dedicated sales and service support.

“This is a strategic expansion into a core offshore market,” Visconti says. “Louisiana’s offshore environment is a natural fit for our catamaran platform, and The Boat Yard is the right partner to represent the Twin Vee brand in this region.”

Final dealer authorisation in Louisiana is subject to state-level approval, and Twin Vee is currently completing the necessary regulatory filings. While the company does not anticipate any issues, it noted that approval is not guaranteed. Once authorised, The Boat Yard will begin offering Twin Vee PowerCats with full sales and customer support services.
