Marine industry veteran Todd Albrecht to help take new US builder to new levels
Edgewater, Florida-based Solace Boats has promoted 22-year marine industry veteran Todd Albrecht to the position of president.
Founder Stephen Dougherty will remain CEO of Solace, as the pair work together to launch their new 345 “luxury centre console” and growing the model line-up.
Albrecht was previously sales manager at Solace Boats, which formed earlier this year. Past experience includes Monterrey Boats, Jupiter Marine International, and Sea Force IX in a variety of technical and sales roles.
“Bringing Todd aboard this great new endeavour opened countless doors of opportunity, and when combined with his ambition and drive for success, this appointment was the next logical step,” Dougherty said in a statement.
The company’s first-ever model, the Solace 345, is expected to be available for sale in June, with an official roll-out scheduled in the coming weeks, according to the company.
“I am honoured to be placed in this position where I will have the opportunity to bring this growing company to new levels. With fall boat shows around the corner, I am excited to lead this next charge,” Albrecht said.
