Bruun, Woodhead assume expanded responsibilities at mobile connectivity and inertial navigation systems manufacturer

Middletown, Rhode Island-based mobile connectivity provider KVH Industries has announced two executive appointments.

Brent Bruun has expanded his responsibilities as chief operating officer to now also spearhead corporate business development. With his additional responsibilities, Bruun will oversee all operational and financial aspects of KVH’s mobile connectivity and inertial navigation businesses, including leading financial planning and analysis, fostering investor relations and working toward organizational excellence across the global company.

Bruun joined KVH in 2008 and will continue to work from the company’s head office in Rhode Island.

KVH further announced that Mark Woodhead assumes new responsibilities as executive vice president of mobile connectivity, taking over leadership for commercial sales and global leisure sales in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Woodhead also assumes responsibility for leading global sales operations for KVH Videotel and KVH Media Group.

Woodhead previously served as KVH’s senior vice president for Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and oversaw KVH Videotel on a global basis. A 20-year industry veteran, Woodhead will be based from KVH’s Leeds, UK office.
