New appointments at the ABYC, Highfield, X Shore and more

American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC)
Sarah Devlin has been appointed accreditation director of the ABYC Foundation’s expanding Marine Trades Accreditation Program (MTAP), which launched earlier this year. Devlin will work directly with secondary and post-secondary schools across the US that are educating future marine technicians.
Highfield Boats USA

Aluminium RIB producer Highfield Boats has named Chris Browne as regional sales manager, Highfield Boats USA. Based in California, his initial responsibility will be working with Highfield dealers in the western United States.
Survitec

Survitec, the UK-based marine safety and survival specialist, has named Robert Steen Kledal as its new CEO. Kledal has over 30 years of experience in executive level roles on a global scale. Responsible for setting Survitec’s strategic direction, he will lead the Survitec executive team and sit on the Survitec board.
X Shore

Johan Åström has been appointed chief commercial officer of X Shore, the Swedish electric boat builder. Åström brings an international outlook and experience scaling teams and services in new markets. He joins from Swedish electric vehicle company Radinn, where he was CCO and established the company in North America.
