New appointments at Highfield Boats, Maritimo Americas, Nautitech and more
Forza X1
Joseph Visconti, founder of Forza X1 electric boats, has been named interim CEO and Daniel Norton has been appointed president. Visconti, CEO, chair and president of Twin Vee PowerCats, currently serves as Forza’s executive chairman and chief of product development.

Norton, an integral part of the company since its creation, was director of engineering, contributing to Forza’s proprietary outboard motor and other system components. He replaces Jim Leffew, who notified the company of his resignation earlier this month.
Fossil Free Marine
Sweden’s Fossil Free Marine has appointed Andreas Wiman as head of business to government. Part of the management team, Wiman will leverage his extensive experience and network to advance Fossil Free’s mission of promoting naval mobile storage and refuelling solutions to customers in the government sector.

Wiman brings a wealth of expertise acquired from a career spanning over two decades in various sectors, including the Armed Forces, the defence and security industry, as well as founder and co-founder of several successful companies within critical infrastructure.He is an active investor and will be a new shareholder in Fossil Free Marine.
Wiman also runs his own investment company, NXT Phase AB, and is a partner and one of the founders of the public traded Global Security Fund. In recent years he has specialised in strategic investments and growth initiatives across several industries. His roles have encompassed strategic advisory, change management, business development, and mergers & acquisitions, demonstrating a proven track record of driving companies towards scalability and market adaptability.
Highfield Boats

US RIB builder Highfield Boats has hired Tyler Moseman as its marketing manager. Prior to joining Highfield, Moseman served as marketing director for a large boat dealership in northern New York state. “What sets Tyler apart is his ability to adapt to modern marketing methods,” says Highfield president, Christophe Lavigne. “With a focus on social media, AI, and digital marketing, Tyler is well-equipped to lead Highfield’s marketing strategy using the latest tools available.”
Maritimo Americas

Marine industry veteran Mark Mansfield has joined Maritimo Americas as factory sales specialist, and longtime Maritimo customer service rep and company captain Tom Jagucki is now customer service manager. Both Mansfield and Jagucki are passionate boaters that have decades of experience not only within the marine industry, but also with Maritimo, their products, and their customers.
Mansfield started his career in the boating industry in the late 1980s, and since then has held senior sales and management roles at some of America’s most respected yacht manufacturers. As Maritimo Americas factory sales specialist based out of the company’s office in Seattle, Washington, Mansfield is responsible for the sales and customer journey for clients in the Pacific Northwest region, where Maritimo has always had a strong presence.

Tom Jagucki has been involved with Maritimo since the Australian motoryacht producer first entered the US market, having worked as the company’s corporate captain for years, handling everything from boat deliveries, to new owner orientation, to service support.
Nautitech Catamarans

French multihull builder Nautitech Catamaran has appointed Yves Baslé as its new CEO. Baslé is a seasoned manager who has led numerous companies in various sectors throughout his career. Between 2000 and 2011, he worked in the boating industry with Dufour Yachts and then with the Beneteau Group for nearly eight years, notably as CEO of Wauquiez. After a final nautical experience with Zodiac, Baslé ventured into other industrial sectors. His most recent role was CTO for the European region for Grosfillex.
Tillberg Design of Sweden

Tillberg Design of Sweden (TDoS), part of the Viken Group of companies, has announced the appointment of Martin Butler as creative director. Butler has worked at various design firms during his 30-year career, including roles at RWD, David Collins Studio and Matteo Thun.
