Polish luxury catamaran builder expands abroad, adds new models to its portfolio and selects Cannes 2019 to serve up the 80-footer powerboat design which won over new owner Rafeal Nadal
Poland’s luxury catamaran builder Sunreef Yachts has carved out a share of the global high-end leisure craft market by focusing on customisable sailing and motor catamarans. Based in Gdańsk on the Polish Baltic seashore, the business says that, while it sees an increased interest from Polish customers, Sunreef Yachts continues to sell its craft almost exclusively abroad. Some of the boatbuilder’s main export destinations include Western Europe, the Middle East, North America, Asia, and Russia.
Company representatives tell IBI that, in a major development for the Polish boatbuilding industry, Spain’s top tennis player Rafael Nadal recently ordered an 80 Sunreef Power catamaran which is expected to be delivered to its new owner next year. The model will have its premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival this September.
