The UK’s Waterline Media has expanded its marketing team with the addition of Jo Hurt. The appointment comes after what Waterline founder and creative director Mike Jones describes as a period of strong growth.

Waterline Media is a creative agency specialising in the marine, luxury and superyacht sectors. The Hamble-based company provides a range of specialist marketing services, including photography, video production, design and more.

Jo Hurt is a former media executive and brand liaison for the global Extreme Sailing Series. Following six years working for international sports management company OC Sport, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

“Jo is a great fit for the business, especially with her knowledge of international marketing campaigns and her management of brands within the marine industry,” says Waterline’s Mike Jones.

“We’ve experienced rapid growth over the last year at Waterline Media and have ambitious plans for the future. The addition of Jo to the team will ensure we continue to deliver the highest quality to our current clients, while reinforcing us for the future.”

As part of this newly-formed role, Hurt will work with multiple clients across a range of mediums using her knowledge of media, marketing, PR and brand management to complement the company’s already extensive marketing and media offerings.

Waterline Media’s clients include Yamaha Motor Europe, Sea Ray, Spirit Yachts and Sunseeker International. More recently, the company was made the official creative agency to Arksen – a new shipyard that was founded by PlayJam CEO Jasper Smith earlier this year.

Arksen is currently building a range of semi-autonomous, hybrid explorer vessels and Waterline has been instrumental in the creation and development of the brand.
