Boaters in the Golden State pay some US$107m in state fuel taxes

A coalition of local, state and national boating groups successfully kept a 250% boat registration fee increase from making its way into California’s state budget proposal and now want to ensure fuel taxes paid by boaters in the state go toward boating programs.
