Making it harder for Americans to freely enter an EU nation is a recommendation

The EU has removed the United States from its ‘safe list’ of countries and recommends its 27 member states reimpose travel curbs on visitors from the US where coronavirus infections and hospitalisations have surged in recent weeks.
