Great American Outdoors Act passes US Senate

On a bipartisan 73-25 vote, the US Senate passed the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) on Wednesday, permanently endowing the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) at its existing US$900m appropriation and reduce the US$20bn in deferred maintenance backlogs on public lands.
