Action taken to protect areas of Posidonia seagrass around the Balearic Islands

In a move aimed at protecting the sensitive Posidonia seagrass areas located around Spain’s Balearic Islands, the Balearic Ports Authority (Ports de Illes Balears) recently introduced a charge for boats wishing to anchor near to the areas.
