If a panel of Washington, DC insiders is correct, the US boating industry is facing an existential crisis from a proposed rule by the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that would represent “the largest single take-away of access in the history of our public waters in the United States,” according to National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) president Frank Hugelmeyer.
