Italian builder to take part in I-Made at Saatchi Gallery to promote Italian design
Sanlorenzo will be in London next week to take part in the debut edition of I-Made (Italian Manufacture, Art and Design Exhibition), a project curated by the famous architect Giulio Cappellini to celebrate the unique excellence of Italian creativity. The show organized during the London Design Festival 2019 will be held in the iconic spaces of the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, which for four days will present installations, talks and a selection of the most representative brands of Made in Italy, to convey a sense of the passion, tradition and uniqueness of Italian brands and designers to an international audience of architects, designers and design lovers.
Sanlorenzo is taking part in the project by displaying models of two of the yachts of the company’s fleet, exhibited like works of art to represent the unique combination of experience, craftsmanship, design and innovation behind every sartorial creation of the shipyard.
Sanlorenzo claims to have been the first to involve outstanding talents in the interior design of yachts, such as Dordoni Architetti, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, Piero Lissoni (Art Director of the company since 2018) and Patricia Urquiola.
The London Design Festival runs from September 14-22.
