Section 301 tariff hearings open in DC

The US Trade Representative opened six days of public hearings on Monday into President Donald Trump’s proposal to tax another $200bn worth of Chinese imports, with leaders from the recreational boating and information technology industries presenting testimony required by Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974.
