Dutch superyacht firms go Open Source in fossil-free yacht design


New 69m, two-masted zero-emission sailing yacht to be built in the Netherlands

A group of “impact investors” and the cream of the Dutch superyacht sector revealed they are building a 69m, two-masted zero-emission sailing yacht. During construction, they will share all their design details, hurdles and snafus on an “Open Source basis.”
