American Boatbuilders & Repairers Association to host its annual conference on January 22

The American Boatbuilders & Repairers Association (ABBRA) is set to meet later this month for its annual meeting, billed as “the only conference designed by boatyard operators for boatyard operators.”

Kicking off on 22 January, the event focuses on issues facing boatbuilding and repair companies and offers “thought-provoking workshops that will encourage attendees to share their thoughts, concerns and solutions to the problems that so many businesses deal with every day,” according to a release from the association.

“We have an excellent line-up of speakers – including this year’s keynote which will be delivered by Richard Downs-Honey, president of The Landing School,” said Pam Lendzion, ABBRA’s executive director. “And we are really looking forward to a special conversation with Wendy Goodwin, Cape Cod Shipbuilding, Jessica Parker, Parker’s Boat Yard, and Nadia Williams, Lamb’s Yacht Center who will share their perspectives on the future of boatbuilding and repair.”

Additional details about the conference as well as registration information is available through the association’s website at
