Lecturers to provide guidance on the CE certification of yachts
Experts from IMCI, the International Marine Certification Institute, are to lecture on CE certification as part of a yacht-building course at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
The yacht-building course consists of three sub-courses: motoryacht design, CE certification for watercraft and their components, and sailing yacht design. Each course has a maximum of four or five lessons. It is also possible to follow only one or a few sub-courses. After successful completion, the participants will receive a certificate for each course.
The CE certification evening course will start on Thursday, 19 September and last until the end of October. When following all three subcourses it runs from September 3 to December 3. Lessons are once a week from 19:00-22:00 and are for interested parties who already work in the boat industry or want to work in the future.
IMCI will lecture on Thursday 19 September, and on Tuesday 8, 15 and 29 October.

The yacht-building course is aimed at those who want to follow a short course in which they will learn more about motoryacht design, sailing yacht design and CE certifications of yachts. The course incorporates the latest trends and developments in the relevant sectors and industries, both at a national as well as an international level.
