The concept for two exciting power catamaran models will be presented at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival as Trueline Yachts explores partnership opportunities with key international dealers and distributors
Any brand launching into the international yacht market needs a clear vision and competitive edge. For new-generation builder Trueline Yachts, that edge comes from a combination of China’s advanced industrial manufacturing capabilities, original Italian design, European yachting expertise and a global market vision.
Ricky Tian, commercial director at China-based Trueline believe this balance will be the winning formula behind the company’s broad international appeal, and the point of difference that takes its CX Series – currently comprising the CX32, CX36 and CX42 – a step further than the existing catamaran formula.
The CX Series is Trueline’s first international product family, but Tian is keen to point out that “it represents only the first step in our company’s long-term vision of developing a comprehensive yacht portfolio.”
Introducing the CX36 and CX32

With the CX32 and CX36 currently in production, this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival is the ideal platform for Trueline to present its CX concept to the industry. Scale models, high-resolution renderings and deck plans will bring the series to life, and the team will be on hand to introduce distributors, dealers and customers to both models.
The CX36, for example, has been designed for owners wanting greater space, comfort and versatility for extended cruising. The result is spacious, open living areas with two double cabins. The thoughtfully designed layout seamlessy integrates indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxed, sociable living anywhere in the world.
“Today’s owners want a yacht that reflects their lifestyle – a place to relax, entertain family and friends and enjoy time at sea in comfort,” says Tian. “The CX Series has been developed around this idea, combining efficient cruising performance with carefully considered living spaces, refined craftsmanship and timeless design.”
Sunbathing and social areas on the CX36 have been optimised with versatile fold-out side platforms significantly extending the usable deck space while at anchor, while generous storage space features throughout. Performance is also a priority, with carbon fibre components helping to optimise weight, efficiency and handling.

The CX32 has been designed with more compact dimensions for those desiring flexible cruising capability and the ability to access a wider variety of cruising destinations, marinas and coastal environments. This versatile catamaran nevertheless offers generous onboard living space, with a double master cabin and interior and deck spaces inspired by larger luxury yachts.
Attention to design and detail
Tian says Trueline looks to the superyacht sector for inspiration on detailing and premium design elements across its CX Series. The company’s collaboration with Italian designers has led to refined Euro-style interiors, with integrated, ambient lighting concepts and carefully selected materials throughout – including high-quality marine-grade fabrics and carefully selected wood finishes.
Customers will be able to choose from a range of interior fabrics, colour schemes, wood finishes and selected equipment packages. Engine configurations can also be specified according to market requirements and customer preferences. Additional levels of customisation can be discussed individually for larger fleet orders and projects.
This year’s Cannes Yachting Festival is an exciting opportunity for the industry to learn – and partner – with Trueline. As the company focuses on the ongoing expansion of its international dealer network, its aim is for the first production yacht to make its physical premiere at Cannes 2027.
