Italy’s Benetti Shipyard delivered its fourth Delfino 95 motoryacht, M/Y Eurus, to its new owner in Viareggio last week.
Delivery of the 29m BD 104 took place during a “hectic time” for the Italian builder, coinciding as it did with the start of the ‘giga season’. In just a few months’ time, Benetti will launch and deliver three giga yachts of more than 100m in length.
“The challenges we have faced in the last months of 2018 and those in which we are involved in 2019 are very ambitious,” said Benetti CEO Franco Fusignani at the launch last Wednesday. “This is because we collaborate with technicians and suppliers who work with passion and devotion to achieve significant results that engaged us and will engage us in the conquering of challenging targets.”

Like all Delfino 95s, Eurus has a fibreglass displacement hull and carbon fibre superstructure. The fourth unit has a Giorgio M Cassetta interior with marble and parquet flooring, an owner’s cabin and four guest cabins for up to 10 people, and another three cabins for a crew of five.
At the bow of the Main Deck is the owner’s suite with private bathroom, at amidship is the galley, and at the stern a large saloon is divided into a relaxation and dining zone, furnished with a table for 10 people.
On the Lower Deck, the crew area has two cabins plus one for the captain for a total of five people. On the same deck, there is the night area for guests with four cabins – two VIP and two guests, each with private bathroom.
The Upper Deck is characterised by spacious outdoor areas furnished with sofas and sunpads. In the inside areas, the wheelhouse is separated from the exteriors by a glass sliding door. There is also a second pilothouse and a sofa for guests on the Sun Deck.
Benetti designs, builds and sells vessels in composite materials from 29m-50m and boats in steel and aluminum from 50m to more than 100m. Its fleet consists of four categories: Class, Oasis, B.NOW and Custom.
