Custom Line, part of Italy's Ferretti Group, has announced the sale of the first units of the new Custom Line 120’ and the new flagship Navetta 42 – several months before they are due to make their international debuts.
The Custom Line 120’ is the first in a new planning range by Francesco Paszkowski Design, while the Navetta 42, designed by Zuccon International Project, is the biggest semi-displacement yacht that Custom Line has ever built.
“We are particularly proud to announce the success of these two models, which have a strategic importance for Custom Line’s present and future,” says Stefano De Vivo, chief commercial officer of the Ferretti Group.
The first Custom Line 120’ has been sold to a customer in the US and is being built at the group’s Italian facilities in La Spezia. It will be launched before the end of the summer and then transported to the US, where it will make its official debut.
The Navetta 42, a product of the partnership between Zuccon International Project and the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department, will go to an Italian owner. The launch is scheduled for spring 2018 and rapid progress is being made on its construction at Ferretti's Superyacht Yard in Ancona, where the hull was recently moved.
The teams are said to be working non-stop at the shipyard, where all of the group’s superyachts are made. A few days after the launch of the first Navetta 33 in early July, the fourth Navetta 37 took to the water. It was preceded by the third just a few weeks earlier and they are both awaiting their new owners.
