Italy’s Ferretti Group launches second member of its new Custom Line planing range
Custom Line, part of Italy’s Ferretti Group, launched its first Custom Line 106’ in Italy last week. The second member of the new planing range by Francesco Paszkowski Design took to the water at Ferretti’s Superyacht Yard in Ancona on Thursday.
A partnership between the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and the Product Strategy Committee led by engineer Piero Ferrari, the Custom Line 106’ boasts a minimalist interior and exterior. Large, interconnected floor surfaces (220 sq m in total) are another distinguishing feature.
The entire interior design scheme in this first unit has been customised to cater to the owner’s requirements, in accordance with Custom Line’s tailor-made style.
The interiors of the main deck are bathed in natural light thanks to the large, full-height windows. The full-beam master cabin is in the foredeck and there are four standard cabins on the lower deck: two VIP cabins amidships and two twin ones forward, all with separate bathrooms.
“The nautical and aesthetic expressive qualities of the Custom Line 106’ are unbeatably rich, because they draw on the voices and inspiration of hugely talented people,” said Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO. “It is the only way to ensure that the specific requirements of owners and their families are met, thus giving rise to yachts that are guaranteed to set a new benchmark in the field.”
The Custom Line 106’ will be unveiled for the first time at an exclusive owner’s event at the Venice Boat Show in June. The official presentation will take place at Cannes in September.
