New plug-in electric boat launches in Philippines

The SESSY e-boat had its official launch in Manila last week

A new, locally built, plug-in electric boat has launched in the Philippines. Co-funded by the goverment’s Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Department of Energy, the boat had its official launch at the Manila Yacht Club last week with a demonstration cruise.
