Norway’s Nordkapp Boats has launched its biggest boat to date. The new flagship is the 905 Gran Coupe, a typical Nordic cabin boat with good cruising capabilities.
The boat has accommodation for up to four people, a separate bathroom with toilet and a galley in the saloon, making it possible to live on the boat for some days or a weekend tour. It also has a big sun bed in the front, as well as a large sliding electrical hatch to open up the saloon.
The 9.11m x 2.98m boat is designed by Espen Thorup and produced in Poland, where all Nordkapp Boats are built.
The 905 Gran Coupe can be delivered with several different engine packages, where 2x200hp gives the most performance with 50kt capability. On the Nordic market 1x300hp may be the most common version.
Nordkapp Boats, founded 1966, is a brand with the Frydenbo Marine in Norway as main owner (80%). The boats are produced at the Mirage factory in Poland which employs around 250 people.
The company is also importer of several brands, among them Beneteau motorboats and Zodiac inflatables. The company also imports Evinrude outboard engines for the markets in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
