The 32m explorer yacht was sold last year to an experienced Mediterranean owner
Turkish motoryacht builder Numarine has delivered the third unit in its 32XP Series to an experienced Mediterranean owner.
Hull #3 is a sister ship to the first hull in the series – M/Y Marla, which was delivered in the summer of 2017 – and boasts a similar look and layout.
The 32m steel-hulled yacht with GRP superstructure is just under the 300 GT category limit, and offers large volumes of internal living space.
Styling is by Can Yalman, the design partner on all Numarine models, and the yacht’s silhouette is deliberately rugged, powerful and hefty with extensive angular windows.
The vertical bow is another contemporary feature added to the yacht, also enabling it to cut through the water with ease.
The hull’s shape, which was designed by naval architect Umberto Tagliavini, is beneficial to the internal volumes.
There is a spacious main saloon and several outside areas to socialise, including a large couch area with bimini and cocktail table forward of the wheelhouse and a huge flybridge.
There are six cabins, including the master suite forward on the main deck.
On the upper deck aft, another roomy VIP cabin opens up, via sliding doors, to a large deck that can fit a 9m RIB tender and two PWCs with the help of the 2.5-tonne crane.
Four additional guest cabins are placed on the lower deck.
In total, the third 32XP accommodates up to 12 guests and is ready for long cruises, thanks to its proven hull and ample of storage facilities.
Below deck forward, the five-person crew quarters provide ideal spaces for the captain with his private cabin and ensuite, and four crew members in two doubles, each with ensuite.
In terms of noise and vibration, the Numarine 32XP surpasses DNV Class 1 Comfort Class. Numarine’s long-standing partner Silent Line, run by Sjaak van Cappellen, developed and installed the solutions to make this happen. With the engines running, the noise level at the owner’s suite is under 37 decibels, dropping to below 30 decibels when the yacht is at anchor.
As for performance, the Numarine 32XP has an efficient displacement hull for a top speed of 14kt, a cruise speed of 12kt, and a 4,000Nm range at 8kt.
