Turkish motoryacht producer Numarine has announced the sale of hull #1 of its new Sportfly model, the 78HTS, to a client from Hong Kong.
The new yacht is an evolution of the 78HT yacht. She retains the existing modern and strong “signature”, says Numarine, while benefiting from a sport flybridge with central upper helm station and four sunpads with tilt/recline backrests.
“Hull #1 of our new 78HTS was sold thanks to the team work of the Numarine dealer network,” says sales and marketing director Antonio Caviglia. “The client is from Hong Kong and Asia Marine was instrumental in convincing him to choose Numarine, but the yacht will be utilized in the USA, so the client had to be comfortable with Numarine USA as well for the aftersales assistance.
“This special yacht will incorporate some significant customisations that we will divulge when we launch her in late summer of 2018,” he adds.
The new 78HTS is fitted with standard twin MAN V8 1200hp engines, but hull #1 will have the more powerful twin MAN V-12 1550hp engines for a maximum speed of around 37kt and a cruising speed of 27kt. The range is up to 400Nm.
Numarine builds high-performance motoryachts from a 35,000sq m facility in Istanbul, Turkey. The yard has the capacity to build up to 50 vessels from 62ft-130ft.
