Phil Whitehurst, CEO of UK-based marine electronics brand Actisense, is joining leading figures from Britain’s marine, maritime and advanced engineering sectors by sitting on the conference panel at the upcoming Marine Trade Xchange in Poole, Dorset.
Held in association with the Poole Maritime Festival, British Marine and the Borough of Poole, Marine Trade XChange is a one-day conference taking place at Poole Lighthouse on June 7.
Sitting on the Manufacturing & Supply Chain 'Meet the Expert' panel, Whitehurst will be helping to address important issues affecting the UK’s marine industry. With over 20 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering and exporting. He will also share inspirational business advice with other companies from across the country.
Whitehurst founded Active Research Ltd, the company behind the Actisense brand, in 1997. The company works with over 70 distributors in 42 countries, stretching from Norway to New Zealand, Canada to Korea and all of mainland Europe.
At the exhibition, Actisense will also provide an exclusive sneak preview of its latest product developments, including the first glimpse of the new Wi-Fi Gateway which will make NMEA 2000 data available over WiFi.
