UK-based marine electronics firm Actisense is celebrating COO Lesley Keets’ 10th year with the company.
Keets, who first joined Actisense as sales and marketing manager in 2007, quickly became instrumental in the growth of the company through the implementation of new sales and marketing initiatives.
By 2011 she was promoted to operations manager. In this role, Keets led a three-year Growth Accelerator Project, enabling Actisense to deliver new products to market quicker than before whilst retaining the quality of Actisense products. This resulted in an 18% increase in national sales from 2012 to 2014.
In April 2015, she was promoted to COO. Two years into this role, Keets has a long list of achievements with the company. This includes guiding Actisense to achieve two major accreditations from the International Organization for Standardisation and being invited by the British Marine Federation to represent the British marine export industry at the House of Commons.
“I have had an incredible 10 years at Actisense,” says Keets. “We’ve grown immensely in this time and I am proud to have guided the brand in our position as leaders in the marine electronics industry.”
Established in 1997 by Phil Whitehurst, Actisese produces a range of marine electronic products that are marketed in over 40 countries worldwide. The company is headquartered in Poole.
