Lalizas, the Greek manufacturer and distributor of marine safety equipment, has acquired Alexander/Ryan Marine & Safety (ARMS) from Drew Marine, a global provider of technical solutions and services to the marine industry.

ARMS distributes marine safety products and performs a variety of services for companies within the global offshore oil & gas industry, with a heavy concentration in the US market.

“I am very satisfied with the acquisition and I am confident through our proven track record that we shall be able to amplify the trust ARMS has received all these years from its customers though our well-established operations and organisational excellence,” says Lalizas president and CEO Stavros Lalizas.

Lalizas manufactures and distributes lifesaving equipment and other products under the Lalizas, Lofrans, Max Power, Nuova Rade and Ocean brands. The company has been on the acquisition trail in recent months, having purchased Spanish docking specialist Onesailor in February followed by the acquisition of Croatian equipment firm Antipiros just last week.

Lalizas is headquartered in Piraeus, Greece.
