Aqua Marine Partners (AMP) has acquired Palm Island Marina in Cape Haze, Florida, from Garfield Beckstead, Dean Beckstead and Terry Lynch. The deal closed August 26, but financial terms were not disclosed.
The 290-slip marina will be renamed Aquamarina Palm Harbour, according to the company. Aquamarina Palm Harbour intends to maintain its operational association with Palm Island Resort and continue the water taxi shuttle service to or from the marina and the resort.
“We are thrilled to be growing our AMP family,” says Andrew Sturner, founder and chairman of AMP, in a statement. “We have recently expanded our team to acquire additional marinas and this particular marina is a gem. AMP intends to improve and expand the marina and will invest in the operational and aesthetic aspects of the physical property.”
