BY009, the ninth Benetti Crystal 140, a 42-meter superyacht in the Class product line, has been launched from the builder's yard in Viareggio, Italy.

Introduced for the first time in 2011, this 42-meter long, 9-meter wide superyacht built from composite, is the flagship in Benetti's Classic range.

The layout extends over four decks, providing accommodation for 12 people in five cabins. Plus the full-beam master suite forward on the Main Deck, which is appointed with a private bathroom and offers a 180-degree view of the sea.

The garage for the tender, PWC and water toys has been moved forward and given a side entrance, making it possible to devote the entire stern to a huge beach area.

The same rational management of space and the engine room also translates into big, welcoming guest cabins on the Lower Deck: on the left two sliding beds with pullman beds, and on the right a double cabin with an additional single bed. The same deck also accommodates the crew, while the captain’s cabin is on the Upper Deck, next to the bridge.

Two CAT C32 Acert engines give BY009 a range of over 4 thousand nautical miles at a cruising speed of 11 knots.
