Benetti has launched the third Mediterraneo 116, a 35.5m with a displacement fiberglass and superstructure carbon fiber yacht in the Class product line, for delivery at ther end of April.

The exteriors are designed by architect Giorgio M. Cassetta, while the interiors have been developed by Benetti’s Interior Style Department in partnership with Radyca, a firm called in personally by the owner who played an active role in the choice of furnishings and fabrics.

The four guest cabins are on the Lower Deck. The two VIP cabins with double beds are arranged symmetrically, while the other two guest cabins have sliding twin beds and pulman beds. Still on the Lower Deck, the three crew cabins are located in the bow area and, with the captain’s cabin next to the helm station on the Upper Deck, provide accommodation up to seven people.

Top speed is 15kt thanks to two MAN V12-1400, of 1,029 kW (1,400 mHP @ 2,100 rpm each), and cruising speed is about 14 knots. The range at 10kt is 3,200 nautical miles, with stabilisation during navigation and at anchor provided by electric stabilising fins.

Benetti sold its fourth Mediterraneo 116 last July. That model is due for delivery to its Asian owner in March 2019.
