Companies still have eight days to enter the Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement, held in association with Raymarine, to be presented during the METSTRADE Show in Amsterdam.

Today we highlight the category that recognises advances in retail marketing where the builder, or the builder and dealer, have demonstrated a real innovation in their marketing approach. This could range from use of virtual reality to enhance a potential customer's appreciation of boating through to promotions that help encourage newcomers to boating and help de-mystify some of the inherent misconceptions among the uninitiated. Novel approaches to boat show and in-store marketing would also be very relevant.

Judging, by an international panel of industry experts, will take place in October and the presentations will be made at a spectacular gala dinner to be held at the Maritime Museum in Amsterdam on November 16th.
